Cordstrap® has been producing corded polyester strapping and one-way load restraint systems in the Netherlands since 1965. As specialists in the field of load restraint and transit packaging, Cordstrap also supplies Dunnage Bags, Edgeboards, Anti-slip Mats and other accessories. The Cordstrap Mission is to solve customers’ transport packaging problems at the lowest overall cost.

Cordstrap® Dunnage Bags are equipped with two different types of valves. Re-usable dunnage bags are fitted with a screw-on quick-fill valve and can be used several times to reduce costs. Cordstrap® Dunnage Bags are approved by the Association of American Railroads.

Cordstrap® Polyester Strapping

Cordstrap® Woven Strapping (CW) has the added advantage of a cross-weave that prevents splitting. Manufactured from the same high tenacity polyester yarn, this very flexible load securing material is sometimes preferred because of its texture.

Cordstrap® Bonded Weather Guard (WG) Strapping. This is the first generation of corded polyester freight strapping that Cordstrap® introduced in the market. Bonded in Hot Melt glue this product is sometimes preferred in colder climates where it is completely weather-proof.

 

Cordstrap® Polyester Lashing

Cordstrap® Polyester Lashing is available in 2 main variations. Cordstrap® Composite Lashing (LC), similar to Cordstrap® Composite Strapping, is the latest technology in flexible, non-metallic lashing and most commonly used.

Cordstrap® Woven Polyester Lashing (CW) is increasingly used to secure cargo in excess of 100 metric tons. Manufactured from high tenacity polyester yarn, Cordlash® woven lashing replace conventional load-restraint products like heavy duty steel strapping, wire rope, chains, ratchet straps and greatly reduces or eliminates the need for wood blocking and bracing.
